Every year, the Student Council at RUC takes part in Roskilde Festival with the volunteer group SR goes RF. As a student, you can volunteer for 32 hours at the festival and, in return, receive a festival wristband, become part of a great community and enjoy a range of benefits.
What do we do?
- Look after festival guests and the area in Silent Spot (the quiet camping area)
- Hand out garbage bags and encourage campers to keep the area clean
- Refill toilet paper and keep an eye on the toilet facilities
- Monitor the perimeter fence
- Help create a welcoming, safe and positive atmosphere together with festival guests
Who can join?
Anyone aged 18 or older can sign up. Our primary focus is on RUC students, but you are welcome to bring a friend from another educational institution, someone considering studying at RUC, or your partner.
The most important thing is that you are excited to be part of a fun, youthful community and help create a pleasant environment in Silent Spot (Camping J).
What are the benefits?
As a volunteer with the Student Council at RUC at Roskilde Festival, you receive:

- Drink vouchers for use on the festival grounds

We have unofficially been described as “the best tower to stop by” by the police, fire service, security staff and social workers. There is always fresh coffee brewing, as well as tea, hot chocolate, soft drinks, muesli bars and much more available in our volunteer area.
In 2026, we even brought our own slush ice machine, a toast machine and a popcorn machine!

Registration opens in winter/spring 2027 ahead of the festival. You are already welcome to email festival@sr-ruc.dk if you would like to be added to our interest list.
