Comments or corrections to the minutes needs to be send to the chairpersonship (on firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than 20 days after the General Assembly – meaning by the 23rd of December 2022. Afterwards, the minutes will be considered approved.
Do you want to set the course for RUCs development and SR’s work next year? Now is your chance! Come to the Student Council at RUC’s General Assembly on Saturday the 3rd of December 2022. It’s a day filled with student influence, democracy and the nicest students in the world. All RUC-students are welcome and have full participation and voting rights. That means every student at RUC is invited – so come as you are, and bring one of your fellow students if you think they are interested!
The General Assembly is your chance to influence the future of RUC and the Student Council’s work next year.
When and where is the General Assembly?
Date: Saturday the 3rd of December 2022
Time: 11:00 – 18:00, and after that we’ll eat dinner together!
Location: The Yellow Room, upstairs in building 13
We’ve also made a Facebook event, which we strongly encourage that you follow. That way, you won’t miss the important updates.
Agenda and appendixes
We’ve made a compendium that contains everything you’ll need for the General Assembly. It may look a little daunting at first, but we promise to walk you through it step by step on the General Assembly – and it’s really not as difficult as it looks!
In the compendium, you can find the agenda, the work plan for 2022 (which we’re going to amend to make a 2023 work plan), candidacies for the chairpersonship, and much more.

You need to sign up for lunch and dinner
We’re making lunch and dinner for the General Assembly, and it’s 100% free for all students who are participating in the General Assembly. All we ask is that you sign up for lunch and dinner no later than Wednesday the 30th of November 2022.
Join SR’s Board of Directors
You can also run for SR’s Board of Directors, aka. “the board”. The board meets approximately once a month, follow what SR does and makes decisions for SR’s work throughout the year. So if you want to become a more integrated part in the representation of the students, both locally at RUC and nationally via Danske Studerendes Fællesråd, and want a say in the type of events and activities we make, then you should strongly consider running for the board.
The only requirement is that you are a student at RUC. You can run for a seat on the board on the General Assembly. If you are unable to attend the General Assembly, you can also announce your candidacy by sending an email to email@example.com no later than Friday the 2nd of December 2022. When you run for a seat on the board, you can get elected to be on the board from February 2023 to January 2024.
A friendly tip: Think about what you find interesting about SR and how you hope to work with that as a board member. If you can say a little bit about that on the General Assembly, that makes your candidacy stronger!
Other ways of being part of SR
There are many ways to be active in the Student Council at RUC. Besides participating in the General Assembly, and maybe running for a seat on SR’s board, you can also join our committees.
As a committee member, you don’t need to get elected – all you need to do is show interest in joining a specific committee. We have committees making social events (such as the semester start party), committees working with student politics, and much more!
By going to the General Assembly, you can get an overview of the options within SR. You can be a part of the committees no matter if you’re a board member or not, but if you’re motivated and driven, there are more ways to take advantage of the possibilities if you’re also a board member.
If you’re not quite sure what you want to do yet, you can also start by joining our volunteer group on Facebook – and then take everything one step at a time.
Got any questions?
If you have any other questions, you’re more than welcome to reach out to us! Come by SR’s office upstairs in the Student House at RUC (building 13), send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or write to us on Facebook Messenger @studenterraadetruc.
